Day 1-2 – African Rock Hotel & Spa

Johannesburg

African Rock Hotel is set in the leafy up-market suburb of Kempton Park, about 11km away from the Johannesburg International Airport. The lavish boutique hotel blends an African, Western and Oriental style together, with a lush tropical garden providing beautiful views.

Accommodation consists of nine luxury guest rooms that are spacious, well appointed and come fully equipped. Guests can relax and rejuvenate in the full service spa, or around the inviting swimming pool. Other facilities available to guests include a fully stocked bar and the Blue Hippo restaurant where delicious meals are prepared. Free airport pick up and drop offs are offered.

Situated in the south of the Kapama Game Reserve, Kapama Southern Camp boasts 5-star luxury safari accommodation with a tranquil atmosphere. The camp has 15 suites with breathtaking views of the surrounding scenery and landscapes, with all the amenities required for a comfortable stay, including en-suite bathrooms, air-conditioning, minibars and tea and coffee stations. Guests can enjoy game viewing from the private patios with a refreshing sundowner in hand. The luxury suites are spacious and each one has a private lap pool, inside and outside showers, mini bar, espresso machine and warming fireplace. Families can enjoy a stay at the family luxury suites, with a lap pool, separate connected bedroom for children and an outdoor patio.

A delicious breakfast and lunch is served in a dining room with contemporary decor and spectacular natural surroundings. Kapama Southern Camp:
Accommodation in 2 x Standard Suites, Three meals per day: full English breakfast, light luncheon and dinner in the open-air boma or thatched dining room (Special bush dinners can be arranged at an extra cost). Tea, coffee, cakes, pastries and afternoon teatime snacks. A selection of local alcoholic and premium beverages are included during your entire stay. A selection of drinks including alcoholic beverages are included on the evening game drive sundowner stop. Two game drives daily in open safari vehicles, accompanied by experienced rangers and expert Shangaan trackers.
