What to expect

The southern area of South Africa’s most famous game reserve, the Kruger National Pak, is separated from lush farmland by the Crocodile River, a popular area to spot crocodiles, playful hippos and thirsty wildlife. The game viewing area is known as the ‘Southern Circle’ and is renowned for its rhinos and lions, with different prides boasting an array of different hunting techniques and behaviours to observe. Near the Hippo Pool, visitors can view ancient San rock paintings. The Southern Kruger offers incredible game-viewing opportunities and magnificent landscapes covered in African bushveld and savannah.

Nestled in the south-western region of the Kruger National Park, Mdluli Safari Lodge is accessible through a private road near Numbi Gate. Inspired by the rawness and beauty of the African bush, the lodge is home to 50 double, air-conditioned, en-suite tents, each featuring a private patio and outdoor shower. Guests can expect to indulge in delicious meals for breakfast, lunch and supper, with the option of enjoying a group dining experience in the Boma. Facilities include a swimming pool, rock pool, a gym and spa, as well as a restaurant and bar overlooking the river. Activities available for guests to partake in include traversing in open game vehicles and guided Big Five bush walks.

Delayed trip to South Africa after Covid. All amendments were handled swiftly and efficiently. Cost kept to minimum considering a 2 year delay.
