Day 5-6 – Avondrood Guest House

Franschhoek

Avondrood Guesthouse is located in Franschhoek just an hour’s drive from Cape Town. The picturesque guesthouse is comprised of original Cape-Dutch architecture, making it a serene setting for a perfect holiday. The large garden ensures that guests have plenty of space from which to take in the relaxing atmosphere of the winelands. There is a large pool, Jacuzzi and outdoor veranda. The extensive deck offers fantastic views of the nearby mountains. Avondrood houses eight large suites, all individually decorated with their own theme. Madikwe Game Reserve

Rhulani Safari Lodge is a Big 5 safari destination situated in the malaria-free Madikwe Game Reserve. Accommodation consists of seven luxury chalets and one two-bedroomed suite. Each chalet boasts a private deck, plunge pool and a fireplace, while the suite has its own lounge. The swimming pool overlooks the game reserve and it is the perfect spot to enjoy a refreshing cocktail. Thrilling safari activities on offer include game viewing from safari vehicles and on foot, birdwatching and star gazing. The dining experience at Rhulani is second to none, with boma dinners, indoor dining and romantic dinners for two.
